Produced from 50 year-old vines, the 1999 Puligny-Montrachet Hameau de Blagny (its entire production is sold in the United States) has delightful acacia blossom, orange, pineapple, and spice aromas. Medium-bodied, supple, sexy, and lush, it is dense, fat, and velvety-textured. Minerals, pears, and apples can be found in its lively yet opulent character. Projected maturity: now-2008.
