Ratings with a range of scores in parentheses indicate the wine was tasted from cask, not bottle. Jacques Montagnon's wines are impressive. They are made in a fat, sweet style reminiscent of Jean-Marc Boillot and Etienne Sauzet. What they lack in refinement and elegance they make up for in power and sweet fruit.
