This tiny estate makes some of the finest red wines in Tuscany. The 1990 Rosso di Montalcino is a rich, full wine, with a huge, earthy, leathery, black-cherry-scented nose, round, generous, succulent flavors, plenty of body, and plenty of glycerin and soft tannins in the finish. Drink it between 1994-2002. Importer: a Marc de Grazia Selection, Michael Skurnick Wines, Westbury, NY.
