Tasted from a magnum in Holland, the 1975 La Fleur-Pétrus is a wonderful Pomerol, albeit one that is probably approaching the end of its plateau. Still, there is much to be enjoyed here, from the leather, cranberry and truffle-scented nose whose vigor is undiminished, to the structured and masculine palate that as I have previously observed, is reminiscent of Chateau Lafleur. It's that good. Drink this marvelous La Fleur-Petrus over the next 4-5 years. Tasted June 2014.
