Although limited in quantity (800 cases), one of Flora Springs' most popular wines is the Sauvignon Blanc Soliloquy. Made from some of Napa Valley's oldest Sauvignon vines (35 years), this non-malolactic Sauvignon is 100% tank-fermented. The 1995 reveals a gorgeous, Muscat-like fragrance of honeyed fruit, with a touch of melon and fig. Vibrant (because of its crisp acidity), this rich, medium-bodied, flavorful, boldly-styled Sauvignon should be drunk during its first several years of life. Flora Springs, one of the largest vineyard owners in Napa Valley, estate bottles only a fraction of their production, with the bulk of their wine production being sold to other wineries.
