The 2020 Barbera d'Alba Trevigne is named after the three sites that supply fruit for the blend. These are the San Pietro Vineyard, the northern Ginestra and southern Ginestra. This wine is dark, inky and rich with bold aromas of black fruit, spice, cola and lots of sweet earth or potting soil. There is a genuine quality to this wine that makes it the perfect companion to the simple but hearty dishes featured in traditional Piedmont cuisine such as agnolotti del plin.
