The 2006 Lugana Riserva Sergio Zenato (Trebbiano di Lugana) is a full-bodied, honeyed white loaded with ripe pears, spices and flowers, all of which come to life in stunning style. This white possess gorgeous balance and tons of style. The French oak has been used masterfully here. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2011. This is a superb set of wines from Zenato. Sadly, Sergio Zenato passed away earlier this year, but his children Alberto and Nadia, along with their mother Carla, are in good shape to provide continuity going forward.
