Bursting with expressive super-ripe berry fruits on the nose, the Bonnes Mares is both elegant and powerful (for Domaine Dujac). An oily-textured, medium-bodied wine packed with cherries, blackberries, minerals and a touch of cassis, it is well-delineated and built to last. It should be at its peak between 2004-2012.
This note is the result of tastings I did in Burgundy between January 7 and January 29.
