The 2004 Fayard is a blend of Carignan, Mourvedre, Syrah, and Grenache. The 2004 exhibits more mineral and crisp acid notes than the 2003 did, with plenty of tasty red currant and cherry notes and a hint of herbs, pepper, and spice.
