The 2015 Chianti Classico Riserva (made with 100% Sangiovese) has a slightly herbal edge with dried herb and green olive. These come on the heels of sun-ripened tones of black fruit and blackberry confit. You get the ripe fruit flavors of a warm vintage such as 2015 with the tangy, spicy notes that are characteristic of the Panzano in Chianti subzone. Ultimately, those two sides come together with balance and harmony.

Offers flavors of underbrush, wild herbs, tobacco and tar, offset by ripe sweet cherry and blackberry fruit. The tannins are dense and leave a firm, dry finish. This should develop well.
