The 2009 Barbera d’Alba flows onto the palate with gorgeous, vibrant dark fruit, spices and flowers. A brief passage in neutral French oak gives the Barbera an attractive plumpness and depth without robbing the wine of the freshness that makes it so delicious. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2013. These are two pretty, entry-level wines from proprietor Giuliano Corino, one of the numerous small, artisan growers based in La Morra.A Marc de Grazia Selection, various American importers, including: de Grazia Imports; tel.
