The 2018 Hermitage Blanc marries ripe, tropical-scented fruit with subtle notes of pencil shavings and toasted coconut on the nose, making for a fun, exotic experience. On the palate, it's full-bodied, round and palate-coating, while being silky and energetic at the same time. The finish pulls the broad, fruit-driven essence into sharper focus while retaining its overall impression of generosity. A fine example of white Hermitage, it drinks well now but should really start to sing in a decade.
