The single-vineyard 2006 Montefalco Sagrantino Colleallodole is another young wine from Antano. The Colleallodole possesses more structure, richness and minerality than the regular bottling, but here, too, the balance is impeccable. There is wonderful clarity and freshness in the glass, as flowers, minerals, tobacco, spices and wild cherries come together effortlessly.
