Grattamacco's 2008 Bolgheri Superiore L'Alberello is a gorgeous, dark wine graced with layers of dark fruit, grilled herbs, mocha tobacco and licorice. The Alberello shows lovely mid-palate juiciness and richness in a medium-bodied style. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot is quite beautiful in 2008.
