The 2007 Pinot Noir Provocateur is a blend of all the single vineyards that Prosser purchases. Darker colored than is typical in 2007, it offers up expressive cherry and black raspberry aromas leading to an elegant wine with enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years. With excellent grip and concentration and a lengthy finish, this is a 2007 Pinot Noir that over-delivers for its modest price. Jim Prosser, owner/winemaker of J.K.
