The 2008 Brao is composed of 50% Garnacha and 50% Samso aged for 12 months in French oak. A saturated purple color, it is a bit more reticent than the Acustic cuvee aromatically. With coaxing, scents of smoke, espresso, lavender, black cherry, and black plum emerge. This is followed by a succulent, dense, plush wine loaded with spicy, ripe black fruit and enough structure to evolve for 3-4 years. It will be at its best from 2013 to 2023.
