The 2013 Josep Foraster Blanc Selecció is a blend of Garnacha Blanca (50%), Macabeu (40%) and Chardonnay (10%) partly fermented in oak with indigenous yeasts and seven months aging with weekly battonage, while half of the wine was kept in stainless steel. It has a sweet nose with something like candied pears along with lees and balsamic notes akin to bay leaf. It has good volume, moderate acidity and a slightly bitter finish leaving it quite pleasant overall. 8,300 bottles produced.
