The Brunate possesses gorgeous delineation, wonderful inner perfume and polished tannins that frame the majestic finish. In this vintage the French oak is also exceptionally well-balanced. The freshness, vibrancy and overall sense of harmony elevate the Brunate into the top tier of 2007 Baroli. This beautiful, aristocratic Barolo is the finest young wine I have tasted from Ceretto in a long time. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2032. This is a truly impressive set of 2007 Baroli from Ceretto. I can’t remember the last time I tasted young wines here with such lovely balance. The French oak seems far better measured than was the case just a few short years ago.
