The 2013 Barolo Parussi is built like a little fortress with compact black fruit held tightly together by good extraction, bold structure and textural importance. The wine ages in large Slavonian oak casks for 30 months. Some 4,000 bottles were made. The finish is linear and elegant with a long and polished finish that emits tones of dried fruit, smoke and licorice.

This red is pure and elegant, with cherry and strawberry fruit cutting through like a beam of energy, shaded by notes of menthol, wild herbs and graphite.
