Slightly denser with more structure as well as minerality and delineation is the 2010 Crozes-Hermitage La Chasseliere. Its dark plum/purple color is followed by a sweet bouquet of charcoal, black cherries, roasted herbs, licorice and tobacco leaf. Deep, medium to full-bodied, long and impressive, it should drink well for 7-8 years.
I did not see the 2010 Cornas as I suspect it is completely sold out. Both cuvees of Crozes-Hermitage are fully mature and are not likely to improve.
