Leading off the reds, the 2014 Grignan les Adhemar comes from the previously named Coteaux du Tricastin AOC that’s located in the northern part of the southern Rhone. It offers pretty, perfumed notes of kirsch, spring flowers, white pepper and Provencal herbs to go with a medium-bodied, elegant profile that carries good acidity and fine tannin. Like all of these 2014 releases, it shows the more mid-weight style of the vintage and will be best enjoyed in their youth.
