Nothing in particular stands out in Le Gode’s 2008 Brunello di Montalcino. Instead, this is a wine of total finesse and elegance. Ripe, silky tannins support a core of expressive fruit as the 2008 opens up in the glass. New leather, tobacco and cloves add complexity on a round, supple finish.
