There is one pure Syrah from their vineyard in Méntrida that goes by the name of 2014 Malpaso. The wine fermented with full clusters and indigenous yeasts in open top oak vats and they trod the bunches with their feet and also did some remontage. Of course, this is not a Garnacha from Gredos at all, but it's among the best Syrah in the zone and in Spain, so it has interest. There are plenty of aromas of smoky bacon à la Rh?ne and some floral hints. The chewy palate has plenty of fruit, is round and lush, very polished and balanced. This is very good value for money. 18,320 bottles produced.
