The 2012 Jaspi Negre is a blend of 45% Garnacha, 25% Cari?ena, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Syrah aged for three months in French and American oak barrels and then matured for one year in concrete vats before being bottled in October 2014. Straightforward and fruit-driven with well-integrated oak, it's quite refreshing, easy to drink save for some dusty tannins that call for food. 60,000 bottles.

This red is plump but focused, offering plum, coffee, garrigue and mineral flavors that are well-integrated and supported by light, firm tannins. Shows good density, with a fresh, savory finish.
