The 2010 Negre is a blend of Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carinena and Syrah fermented in stainless steel. It has a simple nose of mulberry and raspberry fruit that offers no surprises. The palate is ripe and chewy on the entry with furry tannins, good weight and a pleasing, fleshy, mulberry finish that does not try to over-achieve. It is all the better for it. Drink now-2016.
