The 1998 Rosso di Montalcino could easily be mistaken for a serious Brunello di Montalcino. There is sweet tannin and plenty of softness, as well as big, rustic, powerful, earthy, meaty, herb aromas and flavors. Complex, spicy, and medium to full-bodied, it is ideal for drinking over the next 4-5 years.
