The 2010 Perpetual is a blend of Carinena and Garnacha Tinta from very old vines planted on slate soils and aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months. The oak is well-integrated into the wine, which has a black fruit profile with earthy notes from the soil and sweet, round tannins well padded by the acidity, with a clean, long flavor and a tasty aftertaste. Drink 2014-2020.
Torres started in Priorat in 2005 with one red, then launched a second one, and this year the news is that they have produced a sweet wine for the first time, that is about to come to the market.
