This wine has an extremely spicy nose of candied red fruits. It is medium-to-full-bodied, broad, superbly-balanced, fresh, and offers ripe blackberry and Asian spice flavors. Its long and focused finish reveals loads of supple tannins. Readers should note that since this wine had been racked and sulphured ten days prior to my visit, it is possible that its color, fruit, and density had been temporarily compressed by the SO2 (hence the "+").
