The 2002 Alma de Tobia’s dense ruby/purple color is followed by a big, sweet nose of scorched earth, road tar, dried herbs, black cherries, and currants. Silky-textured and lush, with well-integrated toasty oak, it should be drunk over the next 2-3 years.Importer: Thomas George, Frontier Wines, Mt. Lakes, NJ; tel. (973) 328-4500
