The 1998 Riesling is a 100% tank-fermented, dry, explosively fruity, flinty, citrusy wine with gorgeous freshness, loads of minerality, and amazing length and purity. It is a tour de force for a down-under Riesling. Some may claim it will drink well for 5-7 years, but this exuberant Riesling is best consumed over the next 12-18 months, before Riesling's tell-tale mothball/paraffin-like aromas begin to develop.
