The entry-level 2009 Fincas Resalso is 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) from some of the younger vines on the estate. The wine was aged 4 months in French oak. Aromas of cedar, mineral, spice box, violets, and black fruits inform the nose of this forward, supple, succulent effort from the great 2009 vintage. This juicy, uncomplicated effort which finishes with no hard edges, is an excellent value meant for drinking over the next 5 years.
