The 2004 Moscato Rosa opens with high-toned aromatics that some tasters might find almost too intense and volatile. Sweet medicinal herbs, menthol licorice dominate the flavor profile of this wine, which is perhaps a little short on fruit to balance the ethereal sensations that float out of the glass. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2011. Muri-Gries is an excellent source for wines that capture the essence of Alto Adige.
