The 2001 Clos Fonta is a similar blend to the Coma Vella without the Syrah component. It was aged 14 months in French oak. Opaque purple in color, it offers aromas of plum, kirsch, mineral and tobacco. On the palate the wine is voluptuous with well integrated tannin, oak, and acidity.
