Barrel fermented in oak, 33% new, and matured for 9 months, the 2009 Estate Chardonnay has a pronounced yeasty / toasty character over notes of ripe peaches, apple tart and oatmeal. Medium bodied with a nice line of racy acidity cutting through the concentrated stone fruit and apple flavors, it finishes long and toasty. Drink this one now through 2015.
