The 2000 Gattinara Tre Vigne is a medium-bodied, generous wine. While it doesn’t have the delineation of the 2001, it does offer a sweeter, rounder personality. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2015. Travaglini is the largest land-owner in the Gattinara appellation in northern Piedmont. Stylistically the wines bridge traditional and more modern styles, with the Riserva being the most classic wine and the Tre Vigne the most contemporary.
