Apart from a slight floral character on the nose, the 7% Viognier doesn’t seem to add much to this wine. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a very good one: It has sweetish plum and cherry aromas, with oak in a supporting role, and tastes just as the nose would lead you to believe. Soft tannins; drink now.
