A very good effort, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape La Sainte-Vierges offers pretty notes of strawberry jam, cherries, incense and underbrush. It is an elegant, mid-weight, dark ruby-colored 2010 that should drink well for a decade. Cellier des Princes is a large cooperative, possibly the biggest in Chateauneuf du Pape. These four offerings are their single vineyard or domaine wines for which they purchase the fruit, then vinify it at their cellars.
