The top cuvee in 2005 is the 2005 Vacqueyras Les Bois du Menestrel, which is the identical blend and, like the other wines, aged in old foudres or tank for 12-16 months. Full-bodied, fleshy, with hints of fig, black cherry, chocolate, and a bit of tobacco leaf and rich berry fruit, this wine displays lovely texture, medium to full body, ripe, sweet tannins, and a long finish.
