The red wines begin with entry level 2009 Serras del Priorat, a blend of 65% Garnacha, 20% Mazuela (Carignan), and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in barrel for 7 months. It is a fruity, fresh offering with a hint of minerality, spice box, violets, and blackberry. This nicely concentrated, fairly-priced offering will drink well for another 7-8 years.
