Kruger-Rumpf turned in an irregular performance in 1992, producing three excellent to outstanding wines and two mediocre offerings. The 1992 Munsterer Dautenflanzer Riesling Spatlese is a spicy, rich, light to medium-bodied wine with excellent concentration, a fine finish, and good delineation to its component parts. Slightly more restrained than the Munsterer Dautenflanzer Scheurebe Spatlese, it should be consumed over the near term. A Terry Theise Estate Selection, imported by Milton S. Kronheim Co., Washington, DC.
