The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is a generous inviting wine revealing a little more gravitas and personality than the Napa Valley bottling. Dark, red fruit, licorice, smoke, spices and menthol are some of the notes that are layered into the rich, expansive finish. The 2008 is fairly accessible despite the slightly firm tannin.
