The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville was aged for 20 months in French oak, 75% new. Deep purple-black colored, the nose starts off with expressive notes of crème de cassis, dried mulberries and plum preserves plus wafts of cedar chest, sautéed herbs, chocolate mint and tapenade. The full-bodied palate has a solid structure of chewy tannins with a racy line to lend lift and a savory finish. 232 cases were made.
