The 2004 L-Espril is a single vineyard selection of 60% Garnacha, 30% Carinena, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from vines over 50 years of age. Purple-colored, it offers up an outstanding perfume of toasty oak, pencil lead, lavender, black cherry, and blueberry. On the palate, balsamic notes, pepper, and dark fruit flavors emerge followed by a structured wine that demands 5-7 years of cellaring. It will offer a drinking window extending from 2015 to 2025.
