Harvest the first week of September (which is early as it was a hot vintage), the 2009 St Peray Fleur de Crussol continues to drink beautifully, with no loss of vibrancy, purity or freshness. Loaded with notes of apple blossom, stone fruits, white flowers and touch of crushed rock, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and textured, with superb richness and freshness. While it was raised in a fair bit of new oak, it doesn't show a trace of it today.
