The 1996 Barbaresco Rabaja displays a saturated ruby color, and a spicy, tobacco, licorice, and cherry-scented nose. A traditionally-styled Barbaresco, with dry tannin, medium body, and very good extract, it should handsomely repay 2-3 years of cellaring, and keep for 12-15 years.
