The single vineyard 2013 Teroldego Morei comes from a 2.5-hectare, high-density site with alluvial soils and a high presence of stones. The wine is aged in clay "tinaja" amphora on the skins for eight months. It opens to a pretty ruby-garnet color and a delicate, feminine approach that you may not expect. The Teroldego grape is known for boldness and bitterness, and both these qualities have significantly been reduced in this pretty red wine. There is nothing obvious about Mori. Indeed, it offers a steady supply of intriguing aromas and exotic flavors that are both fluid and persistent.
