The purple-colored 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in 35% new French barriques. It exhibits an already complex aromatic array of eucalyptus/mint, cedar, spice box, black currant and blackberry. On the palate it has excellent depth, plenty of savory fruit, ripe tannin, and a lengthy finish. It will evolve for another 2-3 years and provide pleasure from 2010 to 2018.
Morambro Creek was founded in 1994 by the Bryson family with the first vintage in 1998. They farm a total of 420 acres. Their two new releases are outstanding efforts as well as excellent values.
