The toasted mineral, almond, and smoke-scented 1999 Puligny-Montrachet Perrieres is medium-bodied, complex, round, and broad. Quince, nuts, and apricots can be discerned in its otherwise mineral-dominated personality. It is opulently textured and well-balanced. Drink it over the next 6-7 years.
