The 2013 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc checks in as a blend of 40% each of Grenache and Clairette, with the balance Roussanne. Fermented and aged in 50% French oak, on lees, it offers a ripe, rounded and forward style to go with plenty of buttered apple and orchard fruits, mint and hints of pineapple. It’s well-made and should drink nicely for 2-3 years.
