A stunning discovery from the Costieres de Nimes by importer Robert Kacher, this wine is virtually too good to be true. Made from a 42-year old vineyard, the 2000 Vin de Table (100% Riesling) may be the only Riesling produced in Provence. Green apples, wet stones, pit fruit notes, and a hint of petroleum can be found in this dry wine. It finishes authoritatively. Drink it over the next 1-2 years.
